Blood Diamonds

Yes, I finally saw the movie Blood Diamond tonight. Leonardo DiCaprio had an interesting character, and overall it was a very emotional movie (more so for the wife of course). It was definitely more dramatic than what you would see on TV or in the news, but brought the message across loud and clear. "2/3's of the worlds diamonds go to the USA" ... that's a fact I'd like to see backed up, but haven't the energy to google for it tonight. It's late, and it's been another hard weekend of labour on the deck, fence and yard. It's getting there.. but omg is there still a LOT of paint to be applied now that most of the structure has been fixed and / or replaced.

Anyway.. bed time.
