Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks. Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first. This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.
| Adam @ 2004-11-07 19:56:40 | What? No comments? Not even "omg, I can't believe you'd make them fight" or something else? Bah.. |
| Mykhail @ 2004-11-08 19:48:00 | you're gonna need 3 females per male.... much like your dreams.... |
| Adam @ 2004-11-09 11:55:50 | No you don't. One good female and male and you can get it done. However, it is a tedious process that requires a lot of attention - especially the feeding of the babies and such. So I'm probably not going to do that. I used my two votes (work and home) for fighting, personally. But that's cuz I'd like to sell tickets and see them fight.. just once (okay, I don't have to sell tickets, but I'm going to try and tape it - can I borrow your camcorder?)! My betta is like at least twice as big as he was when I got him, so I'd probably have to at least condition the new one in order to fight at all. So I did do a bunch of reading on this, and the breeding isn't terribly hard, just tedious like I said. Their life span is like 2 to 3 years at best, so after a year and a half, I figure he's at his prime to kick some serious ass :-D Any objections? The votes are all over the place, and without mine, breeding is winning. But it's tedious, and not something I really want to undertake right now. Especially in the winter when it's harder to keep the tank warm enough. |
| khay @ 2004-11-09 18:28:10 | No fighting!@#!%$!% |
| Adam @ 2004-11-10 00:36:53 | So all of the women don't want me to make 'em fight.. the men mostly want 'em to fight, either that or something else. Odd. Maybe I'll just stick to one for now then, since that's the other alternative. Breeding - too time consuming, and you can get a LOT of babies out of it. I'd have to be around to feed them every 4 hours or so after they hatched. No thanks. That'd be like having a real baby, and until I have a girl to go through that with, I think I'll pass for now. So I have another flower vase?! |
